Aaron H. Pierce Esq.
Mr. Pierce is a member of the state bars of both New York and New Jersey and is experienced in civil and criminal litigation for both individual and organizational clients. After graduating from The State University of New York at Buffalo, Mr. Pierce moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in New York City where, for 15 years he has been an active member of New York City’s vibrant artistic, political and local business communities. Mr. Pierce’s experience as a club owner, talent manager, political activist and United Nations’ associate has given him a wealth of experience from which to draw as counsel for clients from all walks of life.
Since graduating from Fordham Law School with concentrations in international, music, and contract law, Mr. Pierce has represented clients in business lawsuits, employment cases, class-action lawsuits, and landlord-tenant disputes. He also drafts a variety of business contracts, durable power-of-attorney documents, real-estate buyout and sublet agreements, copyright and trademark applications and handles international business and monetary transfers. Mr. Pierce has filed and fought suits in civil and criminal courts in and around New York City as well as counties in upstate New York.
Mr. Pierce is an active member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyer’s Association and the New York City Bar.

Christopher G. Reid Esq.
Mr. Reid is a member of the state bars of both New York and New Jersey and handles a wide range of intellectual property matters, including copyright, trademark and patents, as well as immigration, housing, general business and family law. His practice has a particular focus on representing small technology-based clients in the internet and interactive entertainment industries, including game and app developers. Mr. Reid uses his extensive knowledge of the gaming industry to provide comprehensive advice and legal service to independent developers, helping them with drafting corporate documents, contract review, terms of service, licensing and setting up long term strategies for protecting their valuable intellectual property.
Mr. Reid is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, serving on the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law section’s Copyright and Trademark committee and moderating panels on developments in video game law. Mr. Reid began his career working for the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn representing clients in housing and New York Supreme court. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Reid worked as an intellectual property associate with Ropes & Gray LLP, where he represented leading technology, automotive, pharmaceutical, biomedical and software companies on a variety of complex litigation and transactional intellectual property matters. Mr. Reid holds a BA (Chemistry and Philosophy) from Colgate University and a JD from Fordham Law School.
Matthew C. Heerde Esq.
Mr. Heerde is a member of the bar in New York and California and is admitted to practice before the Southern District of New York. Mr. Heerde began his practice in Southern California representing non-profit organizations and government agencies in land use and environmental review and litigation. Eventually, he transitioned his expertise to business and entertainment and took on the role of artist manager and music attorney in Los Angeles. Having returned to his native New York in 2010, Mr. Heerde continues to represent and consult with musicians, authors, and filmmakers on both coasts. He has experience in music and image licensing, artist management contracts, record label contracts, performance agreements, copyright and trademark, and corporate issues.
Mr. Heerde’s practice also focuses on commercial contracts and transactions, commercial litigation, and personal injury. He represents individuals and business clients in a variety of matters. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Georgetown University Law Center.
Rakesh N. Joshi Esq.
Mr. Joshi is a registered Patent Attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York, before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and also has a license to practice before the courts in India. Mr. Joshi has a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Fergusson College in Pune, India where his course work focused largely on thermodynamics, physics, and chemistry, an honors Law Degree from ILS Law College in Pune, India and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from Albany Law School.
Before stepping into the practice of law, he worked as an automobile designer and manufacturer, a fitness and health professional, a software programmer, and co-founded a successful software company. He is well versed in patent prosecution and litigation and has written patent applications, responses to office actions and has worked with clients in evaluating the scope of their inventions. He has also represented clients in Trademark Law litigation, and in immigration law cases.
Mr. Joshi’s capabilities in the field of immigration law are facilitated by his multilingual skills. Amazingly, Mr. Joshi speaks English, German, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Urdu and Magahi.
